Baxter Credit Union announces move to expand headquarters location

June 15, 2007—Vernon Hills, IL—BCU (Baxter Credit Union), announced plans today to relocate it’s corporate headquarters from 400 N. Lakeview Parkway to 340 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Vernon Hills in the Continental Executive Park.

The move accommodates BCU’s growth plans as they have rapidly outgrown their current location with 56,000 square feet. “We are excited about our move because it signifies all of the success that our employees and members have made possible over the years”, said Michael G. Valentine, President and CEO of BCU.

The credit union’s new location brings Member Service, Operations and Executive Staff together under one roof, occupying over 100,000 square feet. “Centralizing our operations will allow all headquarter employees to be in one place, which will enable us to gain even greater efficiency and ultimately help us to continue to better serve the financial needs of our members”, added Michael G. Valentine.

Members can expect a state-of-the-art Branch Office complete with the top-rated personal service they are used to, near where they work and live. Members can also expect a larger new Service Center providing more conveniences with enhanced services, expanded parking and easier access. The move is expected to be complete by late November, 2007.
